I was surprised to discover after ordering through DoorDash that what I thought was a new chicken restaurant was actually Red Robin in disguise. Had I known, I would have ordered their fried pickles as well. Red Robin/Chicken Sammy's Pretzel Bites and Beer Cheese are described as "Bear claw pretzel bites and New Belgium ® Fat Tire Beer Cheese ®
Our pretzel bites came slightly burnt unfortunately. The beer cheese itself was creamy and smooth, with a noticably short lived beer flavor, but with no lasting heat behind it. I ordered a second cup and I'm glad I did, as the normal serving isn't enough for every pretzel to be dipped once. I've enjoyed most of the beer cheese I've tasted using New Belgium. Not bad, but not amazing either. Would probably try again post pandemic but not something I would order again.
